"Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald" isn't scheduled to hit the screens until late 2018, so Harry Potter fans all over the world are scrounging for any piece of gossip they can find. The most recent updates about the film come from a new set of stills from the movie.

Entertainment Weekly recently released an exclusive first look at a couple of new photos of the film. In the first one, it showed Eddie Redmayne as his character, Newt Scamander, who is apparently down in a sewer tunnel. His expression on the photo seems like he just saw something momentous in front of him.

In the second photo, Redmayne is joined by Jude Law, who plays the younger version of Albus Dumbledore. The photo is a behind-the-scenes sneak peek, with Law donning regular clothes instead of his attire shown in the previously-released official cast photo.

EW also got the chance to interview Redmayne, who is currently in London shooting some scenes for the film. Apparently, the actor is suffering from a slight injury the cast dubbed as "Wand Shoulder Strain." According to Redmayne, "It's from doing some quite hardcore wand action."

The second movie of the Fantastic Beast franchise will have Newt Scamander team up with Albus Dumbledore in order to track down Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp). As shown in "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," Gellert Grindelwald was apprehended in the film, but it looks like the famously notorious wizard escaped and has since continued his evil plans.

Grindelwald is set to be played by Depp even though some rumours say that the actor is not suitable for the film, which has something to do with his divorce with ex-wife Amber Heard. However, J.K. Rowling herself defended Depp from the numerous accusations, saying she and the other filmmakers are more than happy to have Johnny Depp on board.

Eddie Redmayne will be joined by his co-stars on the first film in "Crimes of Grindelwald." Zoe Kravitz, who played a cameo on the first film, will also be present in the movie. She will play the character of Leta Lestrange, Newt Scamander's former love interest.

"Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald" is scheduled for a November premiere in 2018.
