PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 gamers started to enjoy the benefits of "Far Cry 4's" second patch update last week.  Now, the latest update is headed to Xbox One and Xbox 360 gaming consoles. Game publisher Ubisoft announced that the second patch update addresses several bugs and technical issues found in the game.

Right after the release of "Far Cry 4" on Nov. 10 to various platforms – PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One – players complained about tons of issues like sudden crashes and multiplayer problems. The new patch update addresses this myriad of issues, including: issues in story mission progression, shop menu functions, missing radio call audio, localization and incorrect subtitles. Moreover, the patch resolves the random crashes, map browser, co-op play, and machine gun's aiming accuracy problems.

Still, it seems that Ubisoft is not done fixing all the troubled areas and aspects in the game just yet, as more patch updates will be rolled out soon. Some players have complained that the game does not work properly in dual core PCs and they end up with a black screen. Ubisoft is set to release a "failure to launch" bug fix to solve the problem.

"We are still working at improving your gaming experience and will keep you updated of upcoming patches in the near future," Ubisoft said.

Below is the complete second patch update for "Far Cry 4":

  • Fixed custom match stability issues.
  • Fixed progression page issues in Story missions.
  • Fixed functionality issues in the shop menu.
  • Fixed few localization issues (cut-off text, subtitles).
  • Fixed host migration random issues specific to coop.
  • Fixed aiming issues with machine gun weapon.
  • Fixed Map Browser issues.
  • Fixed some missing sound in radio calls.

"Far Cry 4" is the fourth installment of the successful first-person shooter and adventure game series. Gamers will find themselves in the Himalayas struggling under the reign of a tyrant. Players tread through the game using a wide array of weapons and vehicles and will arrive in one of three different endings.
