To fix some of the issues that have been hounding the latest installment of "Far Cry" since its release last month, Ubisoft is releasing patch 1.6 for the game. The latest patch aims to fix the bugs that affect the game's graphics, gameplay, and memory of the PC version.

One of the most notable inclusions in the patch is the hotkey that lets players switch the HUD on and off by tapping the F1 key. This is advisable for those who will have difficulties playing because of the heavy graphics brought about by the action-packed sequences. It also has the solution for the persistent memory leaks, which is one of the major concerns of "Far Cry" players. In addition, there are several bug fixes that are included in the "Far Cry 4"  patch 1.6, such as the incorrectly saved game from the Uplay Cloud, issues with the controls, graphics, UI, Uplay/Steam and memory usage.

The "Far Cry 4" PC edition has been plagued with a lot of issues since its release on Nov. 18, wherein players are faced with game crashes, lost games that were previously saved, as well as other minor glitches.

The new patch also features a new plot, wherein Shay manages to kill Arnos' father. Elise and Sabal also die in this patch.

The "Far Cry" franchise is famous for bringing players to different exotic parts of the world. In "Far Cry 4," the players face the ruthless king named Pagan Min. The battle is held in the beautiful landscapes of the Himalayas, where the fictional kingdom Kyrat is situated. The gameplay allows the players to choose the flow of the game. They also meet a lot of wild animals throughout the maps, which they can use against their opponents.

"Far Cry 4" is also available across all consoles like PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, as well as Xbox One.
