Peggy Blumquist (Kirsten Dunst) and her husband, butcher Ed (Jesse Plemons), will not see eye-to-eye over their new quandary in the upcoming episode of the FX series "Fargo."

In "The Gift of the Magi," TV Guide reports that husband and wife cannot decide on the best recourse to take, now that the noose is tightening around them.

Last episode, Hanzee Dent (Zahn McClarnon) was on their trail after he managed to locate the remains of Rye Gerhardt on the road outside of the Waffle Hut. Hanzee finally found an evidence that could tell what exactly happened to the son of the Fargo crime family.

A shard of a headlight was left on the snow. Not one to let grass grow under his feet, Hanzee proceeded to the nearest auto shop. There, he found a car whose headlight had been busted. The shard he found on the scene of the crime matched those of the car. When he asked the mechanic who owns the vehicle, he got what he was after.

Peggy and Ed knew that they could not hide the crime any longer. Lou Solverson (Patrick Wilson) offered them a way out, but Peggy said no thanks. She also entreated Ed to back her up. In the upcoming episode, he may be regretting his decision. Ed knew how powerful the Gerhardts are. It is safe to say he fears for his family's life. Will he take on Lou's offer to scamper while there is still time?

Also in episode 5, Lou will be facing his own share of trouble. While protecting Republican presidential candidate Ronald Reagan during his campaign stop in Fargo, the state trooper will reportedly get sidetracked.

Last episode, his wife Betsy (Cristin Milioti) has been diagnosed with cancer. Her condition was steadily getting worse, but the doctors told them that an experimental drug called Xanadu could help. There was half a chance that Betsy might be getting a placebo.

"Fargo" airs Mondays at 10 p.m. EST on FX.
