While the FX Series "Fargo" is foregoing this year to make a 2017 premiere for its third season, a lot of rumors and speculations still abound.

According to The Verge, Ewan McGregor, the famed "Star Wars" actor, will be joining the show's newest season in not only one, but two leading roles. Details pertaining to the characters have yet to be fully disclosed, but the standard "twin brothers" role for this kind of set up isn't the case. After all, McGregor will be playing regular brothers Emmit and Ray Stussy instead.

The brothers in this series have their own descriptions, from their backgrounds, general appearance and a bit of their personality. Emmit is described as a self-made real estate mogul and a family man with good looks. His success is on such a scale that he's dubbed the "Parking Lot King of Minnesota." On the other hand, Ray is in direct contrast to his brother, a cautionary tale of what happens to arrogant guys who peak in high school. He's described as a parole officer with a pot-belly and receding hairline. He also has a huge chip on his shoulder regarding the hand he's been dealt, and thus blames Emmit for the state of his life.

McGregor is the first actor cast for the newest season of "Fargo," which is set in 2010. Entertainment Weekly interviewed series creator Noah Hawley last year on whether or not the newest season will feature a character from either the 1979 or 2006 series. He said that:

"There are going to be connections, the way the first year was connected to the movie and the second year was connected to the first."

Up to this date, the statement can only be interpreted as a confirmation, but in any case, with two brothers as polar opposites in terms of appearance and lifestyle, fans can just imagine the direction of the story.
