According to a post on their website, "Farming Simulator 17" Platinum Edition will send players to the American South where they'll be able to play around with "authentic landscapes, unique vegetation, railway network, local cows and sugarcane fields."

Aside from the change in location, there will also be additions to the gameplay and players will be given more options with regard to how they handle their farms.

Aside from farm machines and equipment, there will also be new sugar cane harvesters.

"Famous brands from South America, Poland and Australia have also been added, including Stara, Doble TT, Bizon and Gessner Industries," according to the developer Giants Software.

This is a first in the game's series and the added machinery has upped the number of in-game tools to over 275.

"Farming Simulator 17" Platinum Edition will be available in both retail stores and as an online download. The game's system requirements are available for viewing on its Steam page.

Players need an operating system of Windows 7, 8 or 10. They also need a memory of at least 2 GB, a dual-core Intel processor of 2.0 GHz and 6 GB of storage space, among other things.
