As it turns out, "Fast and Furious 8" may not be the first movie in the franchise without the late Paul Walker. There's a new rumor going around that the actor's presence will still be in the film in the form of a CGI.

The technique was used in the record-smashing blockbuster hit "Furious 7," where fans saw Vin Diesel's Dominic Toretto and Walker's character Brian O'Connor part ways.

It remains to be seen if Walker will somehow still be in the movie. There are too many details pointing to this actually happening but what has already been said is that the film will be back to what it was known for – racing.

Michelle Rodriguez, who is Letty Ortiz to fans of the franchise, told People that it was Walker who "wanted to bring it back down to the core." The actress says that the actor did not like the idea of special effects so "Fast and Furious 8" could very well follow a theme very familiar to fans.

It is not all too impossible. The action-packed movies have noticeably evolved with explosions and flying cars abundant in the most recent film but Vin lead star Diesel has already said that the film will be for Walker, so they might as well execute what his beloved co-star had long envisioned for the franchise.

"Fast and Furious 8" will be the start of the trilogy that will wrap up the whole saga. There are murmurs about Jordana Brewster reprising her role as Mia Toretto, Brian's wife in the series, for the upcoming movie.

The reports are yet to be corroborated, although Crossmap believes that this is a very tall order to be pulled off, especially with Cody Walker, who filmed the rest of the scenes in "Furious 7" that his brother Paul was not able to after his untimely death, will no longer be back.

At the moment, details remain vague as to what the next installment of the hit "Fast and Furious" franchise will be all about. The film will be out Apr.14, 2017.
