Despite a feud between Vin Diesel and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson during the production of "Fast 8," a feud which both stars have already addressed and are working to fix, the film is still going smoothly and a recent announcement confirms that fans will get their first good look at the film in action when the trailer is released in December.

Posted on the official "Fast 8" Facebook page, an announcement with a photo of the whole cast confirms that filming has been concluded and that it took place all across the world. Filming occurred in Cuba, Iceland, New York City and in Atlanta.

The post continues to then thank all of the cast members and the film's director, F. Gary Gray, while also offering tribute to the late Paul Walker, who died during the production of "Fast and the Furious 7." At the bottom of the post is the announcement of the trailer's December release.

"For our final ‪#‎FastFridays‬ post, all of us in the Fast Family wanted to thank you for coming on the ride with us during this epic production," reads a portion of the post. "All of us take our work on 'Fast & Furious' seriously, and we seriously intend to wow the world again. We'll be back in December with your first look at what we've created for you."

"Fast 8" is the start of a final trilogy for the series and its plot will continue on with "Fast 9" and finally "Fast 10," which has been stated to be the final entry in the franchise. The films will continue on without the inclusion of the late Paul Walker despite the fact his character was included in the seventh film thanks to the contribution of his brothers.

"Fast 8" will launch in theaters on April 14, 2017 and will star Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Charlize Theron, Helen Mirren and Tyrese Gibson.
