Details about the role of actress Charlize Theron in "Fast and Furious 8" are being kept under wraps, but there are rumors that her character in the film will not be very fond of the Toretto gang.

The "Mad Max: Fury Road" star is rumored to play the role of the main antagonist of the film. Theron's character is reportedly a haughty crime lord, who has a slew of terrors to throw and a beef to settle at Dom's camp.

Theron is said to be in Cuba with her co-stars in "Fast and Furious" for the filming. Michelle Rodriguez and Vin Diesel are already there as well. The latter has been sharing videos on Instagram to document it.

In one video, he admired the beauty of Cuba and the warm welcome of the residents there. In another, he teased that "Fast and Furious 8" will have more race scenes, which he believes is the core of the film.

In his latest post, Diesel once again remembered his late "Fast and Furious" co-star and good friend Paul Walker. "We will make something to be proud of," the actor captioned a photo of him wearing a shirt featuring an image of him and Walker.

We will make something to be proud of... Grateful. #blessed. #F8

Scott Eastwood is also joining "Fast and Furious 8" for a role yet to be fully disclosed. Thankfully, he revealed titbits about his character in a tear-jerker of an Instagram post chronicling his casting.

"I get to play a new character who operates under Kurt Russell in the movie, which is incredible, because Kurt was a total childhood hero of mine growing up," the actor said.

Russell will be reprising his role as Mr. Nobody in "Fast and Furious 8." He debuted the character in "Fast and Furious 7" and was at one point rumored to be the Toretto gang's next big headache.

Fans can get the latest on the "Fast and Furious 8" production via the franchise's official social media accounts. The production team has launched what is called "Fast Fridays," where updates about the film will be shared online.

"Fast and Furious 8" releases April 14, 2017.
