"Fast & Furious 8," or better known as "Fast 8" has not arrived in theaters yet, but actor Vin Diesel already announced the release dates for "Fast & Furious" 9 and 10 films.

Two weeks after announcing "Fast 8's" release date on Instagram, Diesel on Feb. 3 released photos detailing the release dates of the last three films of the franchise.

To start off, "Fast 8" will be hitting the theaters on Apr. 14, 2017; the ninth film, "Fast & Furious 9," will be out on Apr. 19, 2019; and the tenth film will arrive on Apr. 2, 2021. That makes 10 films in one saga completed in ten years.

With that said, the "Fast & Furious" franchise will serve as the first non-horror movie franchise that have several stories in one saga, Forbes reported. The only horror movie that made it past ten films is the "Friday the 13th" franchise.

Meanwhile, not much is known about the future car racing-themed films, but Diesel posted a teaser for "Fast 8" seen below, and the Empire State Building can easily be noticed in the background, suggesting a New York location.

Diesel also hinted that the next three films will end the franchise, but the possibility of spinoffs is not far off. In November last year, Variety reported that the actor teased that sequels may be in the works.

"We've written out story lines for various characters," Diesel told the publication. "We've been playing with it for a long time. It's a very rich property and we're committed to treating it with a lot of class."

Whichever path the franchise goes down to, "Fast & Furious" fans will still have plenty of time to enjoy new action and see cool cars.

"Fast 8" is currently in development with "Straight Outta Compton" director F. Gary Gray taking the director's seat. As indicated in IMDB, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, and Ludacris have been listed as cast members.
