The "Fast & Furious" franchise is on its seventh installment, and it is planning to add three more movies after this one.  Universal Pictures chairperson Donna Langley reportedly said to The Hollywood Reporter during an interview that she has faith in the success of the film series.

"We think there's at least three more [movies]. I think it's still a growing franchise," she said.  "We'll see what happens with Furious 7, obviously, but our box office has grown over the past three or four films and internationally, in particular.  So we think that there's more to mine there. But we're of course very mindful about fatigue."

"Furious 7" is the last film that actor Paul Walker did for the epic car chasing franchise before he passed away last year in a car crash. His character Brian O'Connor plays an important role in the series. Nevertheless, Universal Pictures is confident that the multi-million dollar franchise will continue to reap success even in his absence.

"Paul is, and always will be, an integral part of the story," the Universal Pictures exec pointed out. "But there are many other great characters, and it's also an opportunity to introduce new characters."

Walker shared the screen in the "Fast & Furious" movies with Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Dwayne Johnson, and Jordana Brewster.  The gang returns once again to face the wrath of Owen Shaw's (Luke Evans) brother, played by Jason Statham.

Brewster, the actress who plays the role of Walker's love interest Mia Toretto in the film, shared her excitement in seeing his last big moments on the big screen.  The trailer for the upcoming film shows some of the last scenes that he did before he tragically passed away, and F&F fans are now looking forward to seeing him in exciting action-packed car chases in the upcoming film.

"I think the beautiful thing is that they get to see Paul again... and in a way celebrate him," the actress told E! News. "I've heard he's really really good in it, so I look forward to seeing him, too. Obviously it will be bittersweet, but I think it's a way for fans to revisit him."

"Furious 7" is scheduled to be released on April 3, 2015.
