Most games these days are understandably action-packed requiring a lot of skill, smarts, and instinct to win the game. Developer Electronic Arts (EA) is shaking things up a bit for 2018 releasing a new and quite relaxing game called "Fe."

The game is specifically developed by Zoink, the first company to have joined the indie part of EA called EA Originals. One of the main features of "Fe" is that players need to sing as a part of the game; otherwise, it would not exactly be possible to progress. Players will be controlling a yet unnamed seemingly mythical being that can glide through the air and literally zip by trees.

The singing part comes in when the player, as this mythical being, needs to gain the trust of other animals. This unique part of the game was shown in a five-minute gameplay released by creative director Hugo Bills via IGN.

In "Fe," there is a group of evil creatures trying to take over the forest, and players will need to stop that from happening. Some missions will entail saving animals that get caught by the evil creatures. Players have to sing to get help from other animals and then sing again when they get to the trapped animal. As the video shows, players have to hit the right note before they trust the player.

Once players get to save the trapped animal, it will teach them new languages which they can use to communicate with their fellow animals. Watching the video, it does not seem like players will need a lot of skill. As for the singing mechanic, players do not exactly need to reach the exact note either. It seems that the point of the game is a sort of relaxation or just a simple adventure as the players get to explore the forest talking to different floras and faunas.

"Fe" was originally announced during the E3. There are no exact details as to when it will come out and for what platform, but it is set to be released sometime within 2018.
