'Fear the Walking Dead' season 2 plot rumors: Who's next to die? 'Flight 462' tie-in possible'?

The previous season of "Fear the Walking Dead" featured the first death of one of its main characters, Liza Ortiz, portrayed by Elizabeth Rodriguez.

With her death, it is expected to bring some changes to the lives of the rest of the characters, particularly her teenage son with her ex-husband, Chris Manawa (Lorenzo James Henrie).

In a world filled with the undead, it's difficult to stay sane, especially when one tragically loses someone so important. That's what happened to Chris, and with his grieving state of mind, it wouldn't be surprising if he loses it when the show returns, according to Melty.

With Chris wanting revenge for his mother's death and struggling to get it together amidst the pressure of living in a zombie-filled nation, the news outlet speculates that he could be the next character to go.

So far, the production has kept mum about what season 2 will bring, except for the confirmed news that most of the storyline will take place in the water, aboard Strand's (Colman Domingo) yacht.

Zombies can't swim, as confirmed by series co-creator Robert Kirkman, but how can a water-themed zombie show continue to feature more horror if refugees seek protection by going offshore?

The answer may lie in the tie-in of the web series, "Flight 462," International Business Times reported. According to the report, characters from the web series might cross paths with those from "Fear the Walking Dead."

While aboard the plane supposedly bound for Phoenix, passengers are unaware that a zombie-bitten passenger is also with the group.  IBTimes gathered that the upcoming episodes of the web series will reveal the plane to be filled with zombie passengers and could crash into the water, where Strand's team are staying.

"Fear the Walking Dead" producers have not confirm such plot, but if this story happens, fans will be in for more thrill as newly-turned victims will wreak havoc in Strand's ship.

"Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 will return to AMC in 2016.
