Fans had been restless ever since a crossover between AMC's zombie series "The Walking Dead" and its sister show "Fear The Walking Dead" had been teased. There are a lot of predictions as to who and how this would go, but one theory connecting Texan characters has been further fueled.

"Fear The Walking Dead" is presumed to be coming next year, and eagle-eyed fans have caught a glimpse of the reportedly new set of the apocalyptic series in Austin, Texas. A photographer captured sets, probably of the show, that seemed to look like those that could come from a survival scene. Some of the vehicles pictured, like an RV and a pickup, were seen against some lights.

The Texas' Dell Diamond Stadium has also been converted into what looks like a shooting location. While a spokesperson for the baseball stadium has confirmed that they had the place for lease, the official did not name the taker, but fans who saw the photos quickly noted that it was for "Fear The Walking Dead." 

With these, fans who have been pushing for a crossover featuring Abraham Ford (Michael Cudlitz) of "The Walking Dead" can take delight in the surfacing photos. It can be recalled that Abraham met death in the season 7 premiere of "The Walking Dead," along with Glenn (Steven Yeun), after being hit with Lucille, Negan's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) baseball bat covered with barbed wire.

Abraham, who hails from Texas, was predicted to be the one who will be featured in the crossover, after the "Fear The Walking Dead" season 3 finale saw Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) and Proctor John (Ray McKinnon) talking about a plan to move to Texas and set up a trading system there.

Aside from the recent photos supporting the theory that the crossover will take place in Texas, Cudlitz himself gave a cryptic statement on Twitter, saying "Crazy shit is about to go down. See y'all on the other side," seemingly hinting at the crossover.

"Fear The Walking Dead" returns in 2018.
