Dougray Scott is moving out of the old Pennsylvania steel town of "Hemlock Grove" and is heading to Los Angeles as the newest addition to "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2. His arrival on the show has been confirmed but his character has not been revealed. However, there are some speculations about the role.
The "Desperate Housewives" actor will play the role of a "decent man" and a believer of civility named Casey, who was mentioned in a casting breakdown that made the rounds recently, according to TVLine.
The new "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 character is described in a recent casting breakdown as a "confident in an unexpected position of authority" even though he is "still learning" to be a leader. "He regrets but accepts the necessary violence for a new vision," the description adds.
Meanwhile, a short but meaty teaser for the new season of the spinoff has been released. It gives a glimpse of the characters in distress as they take on the waters to get away from the epidemic that has proliferated on land.
The most interesting part about the thrill-inducing "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 promo is a low-flying airplane casting its shadow on the Pacific Ocean while its engine whirs wildly. This means that the new season may finally interconnect the show and the mini web-series "Flight 462," which follows a group of distressed and uniquely strange passengers on board an aircraft initially not allowed to fly.
For those who are not in the know, a character from "Flight 462" was promised to appear in "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2. There's no word on who that person will be but it looks like this plotline will finally be explored in the new season.
It is also unclear how the "Flight 462" character will be thrown into the mix with Travis and his family but with an airplane hovering over the Pacific Ocean now hints that there will be some sort of shakeup soon. Fans will remember that residents chose an airplane as their refuge in the first season's finale.
