AMC has once again succeeded in gaining the attention of the audiences with "Fear the Walking Dead" — all thanks to the captivating plot and the compelling characters that contributed to the high ratings of the series.

Now that season 2 is in production and is slated for a spring 2016 release, many of the show's fans are eager to know what happens next in the zombie-stricken Los Angeles.

Series creator Robert Kirkman already revealed that season 2 of "Fear the Walking Dead" will be shooting most of its episodes on sea. The survivors have escaped the land and are seeking refuge in the waters, but Kirkman promised that the characters will not be seen on a boat for most of the time.

The second season is also expected to bring major changes to characters' personalities, as hinted by actor Cliff Curtis, who plays main character Travis in the series.

Speaking to Comic Book Resources, Curtis revealed that there are so many changes, especially for his character, and explained that it would be difficult for Travis to go back to the man that he was back in the previous season.

"He does things that he thought he'd never, ever have to do, and he would never be capable of doing," he told the news outlet.

Curtis' response appears to coincide with a previous report that the events that transpired in season 1 will surely affect relationships among characters. For instance, Travis' teenage son, Chris (Lorenzo James Henrie), who may harbor ill feelings toward his dad following the death of his mother, could possibly lash out and might result to his demise.

Madison Clarke (Kim Dickens) is also said to show her dark personality. She started to show her other side back in season 1 and this particular side of her is said to be given focus in the next season.

Not much has been revealed about season 2's plot, but based on what Curtis shared, the survivors at sea won't be the only beings in the area.
