The AMC horror-drama television spin-off "Fear the Walking Dead" has been renewed for season 4, which will air immediately after the season 8 finale of "The Walking Dead." After the cliffhanger of an ending that the show left for its fans in the season finale of season 3, it is safe to assume that audiences will want to know what they can expect from the upcoming season.

First off, fans will be seeing Lennie James, who played Morgan Jones in "The Walking Dead," in season 4 as a regular cast member. Morgan is the survivor with a son whom Rick Grimes, Andrew Lincoln, meets in the earlier seasons of the show. Given that "Fear the Walking Dead" is a prequel to its parent series, fans can expect to see a more in-depth backstory as to how the tragic story of Morgan and his son came to be.

Although it has already been revealed that Morgan will be a cast regular, it is not yet known as to which point in his life he will cross paths with the survivors of "Fear the Walking Dead."

Morgan is not the only new face that the survivors will be crossing paths with in season 4, with Garret Dillahunt from "The Mindy Project", Jenna Elfman from "Dharma and Greg", Maggie Grace from "Lost," and Kevin Zegers from "Notorious" will be joining the cast as well. As of now, the roles of the new cast memebers have not been revealed yet, but they will add more spice to the chaotic world of the survivors in "Fear the Walking Dead."

It is quite surprising that the show has not been received as well as AMC anticipated, suffering from a steady decline in ratings and viewership over the past two seasons. However, with Morgan's return, and the satisfying ending of season 3, the show still has a chance to turn itself around this season and generate interest among "The Walking Dead" fans once more.

"Fear the Walking Dead" season 4 will air on April 15, 9 p.m. EST, on AMC.
