FX just aired the season 1 finale of "Feud: Bette and Joan," but series co-creator Ryan Murphy started to talk about their plans for the historic drama anthology's second season.

During an FX Emmy event in Los Angeles held Friday, Murphy confirmed that the plot of "Feud" season 2 will center on the lives of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana, particularly during the events after their divorce and end with Diana's death.

"The next one is about Charles and Diana," Murphy stated during the event. "We are shooting I think in the late fall and I'm casting Charles and Diana."

He also hinted the timeline of the show's upcoming season. "I think having a show called Feud is interesting." Murphy also stated, "because I love when Cathy (Zeta-Jones, as Olivia de Havilland) says feuds are about pain. So Charles and Diana's story literally begins with filing the divorce papers. It's about that pain of the dissolving of a fairy tale, particularly for Diana. It starts with the filing of divorce papers and takes you up until her death."

The series co-creator, who also created other critically acclaimed series such as "Glee," "American Horror Story," and "American Crime Story," also mentioned that actresses Susan Sarandon and Jessica Lange could still have roles in "Feud" season 2.

Meanwhile, Murphy also hinted in an interview with E! News that they already started the casting for "Feud: Charles and Diana." But when asked who will portray the role of the late princess who died in a car crash in Paris, the series creator said that he is already talking to "some very famous, established British actresses."

He also said that there are a lot of actors from Hollywood who want to take the parts of both Diana and Charles.

Details about the release date of the 10-episode "Feud: Charles and Diana" have yet to be announced by FX.
