The wait for "Final Fantasy 15" could finally come to an end on June 1, 2016, at least if an Amazon Japan listing is to be believed.

The newly spotted listing reveals nothing else except for the supposed release date, and thus far, Square Enix has not confirmed whether it is actually accurate.

Interestingly enough, rumors about when "Final Fantasy 15" might be released have been going around for a while now, and according to Game Reactor, a summer release date would be right in line with what those earlier reports have previously suggested.

Still, without any confirmation from Square Enix, it would be tough to guarantee that "Final Fantasy 15" will hit stores on June 1, 2015.

The good news is that fans will not have to wait that long to learn when the game will finally be released. According to Attack of the Fanboy, Square Enix has already announced plans to reveal the game's actual release date during an upcoming event in March, so fans will simply have to catch that to find out more official details regarding "Final Fantasy 15."

In related news, "Final Fantasy 15" director Hajime Tabata revealed more about the game during an interview with Examiner.com.

One of the things that Tabata talked about during the interview was the magic system set to be featured inside "Final Fantasy 15."

According to Tabata, there would be two types of magic in the game. The first kind of magic is more widely accessible and available, while the other type of magic will be usable only by members of the royal family.

Tabata also talked about the female characters inside "Final Fantasy 15" during the interview. He revealed that the female characters would be instrumental to the game's story beyond just being love interests for the main characters.

More details about "Final Fantasy 15" should be made available in the coming weeks.
