Will "Final Fantasy 15" be released in the summer?

That's the question on the minds of many players after a recent Square Enix survey hinted at that very possibility.

According to Dual Shockers, the survey itself is quite long, and is unremarkable for the most part, except for question number 47.

The question asks players which game they would purchase first between "Final Fantasy 15" and "Persona 5" should both games be launched at right around the same time.

Respondents were given three choices. They could either choose to buy "Final Fantasy 15" first, purchase "Persona 5" first, or simply get both games.

"Persona 5" has no exact release date for now, but it is currently expected to be launched in Japan in the summer, Game Zone reported.

While the contents of the question combined with "Persona 5's" probable release date don't directly point to Square Enix's plans, they would seem to at least indicate that the company is considering a summer launch for their much-talked about role-playing game (RPG) epic.

Fans still hungry for official news regarding "Final Fantasy 15" will be glad to know more details will be coming their way early next year.

The next Final Fantasy Active Time Report, which is a broadcast dedicated to revealing more about "Final Fantasy 15," will be airing sometime in January, GameSpot reported.

The upcoming broadcast is expected to show off more of "Final Fantasy 15's" battle system along with a better look at the Niflheim Empire. More details about the game are also expected to be revealed as part of the Active Time Report, although fans will have to wait until the broadcast airs to find out what else will be showcased.

No exact airing date for the Active Time Report has been released as of now.

The long wait for "Final Fantasy 15" is expected to come to an end relatively soon as the game will reportedly be released sometime in 2016.
