Gamers finally acquired new information about two of the most-anticipated video game releases, "Final Fantasy VII Remake" and "Kingdom Hearts 3." The launch date for "FFVII Remake" might stretch until 2019, but "Kingdom Hearts 3's" 2018 was reaffirmed.

New reports about the release of the remake still suggest that the video game's release will be divided into three episodes. The first episode is expected to come out in the first few months of 2019 and not in late 2018.

Information from Square Enix about its upcoming installment to the "Final Fantasy" franchise has been minimal so far. However, gamers and video game critics are looking forward to the Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Exhibition next week. The exhibition will open its doors on Jan. 22 to Feb. 28 at the Mori Arts Center Gallery in Roppongi Hills, Tokyo. It was confirmed that "Final Fantasy VII Remake" will be part of the exhibition, and gamers are hoping for more detailed information about the game.

Meanwhile, it is a different and rather better story for another upcoming Square Enix video game. "Kingdom Hearts 3" is believed to be released this year after a Twitter post by Square Enix USA. The account tweeted a link for an article written by Destructoid about the anticipated video game releases of 2018. "Dragon Quest! Kingdom Hearts! Check out @destructoid's most anticipated games of 2018 and let us know what game you're looking forward to," Square Enix wrote.

Plans for "Kingdom Hearts 3" started way back in 2006, and the video game was confirmed back in 2013. A lot of people celebrated after hearing the news about the video game's release window announcement. Many gamers are also hoping the release of the title will not be delayed to a later year. There are no information from Square Enix if "Kingdom Hearts 3" will make an appearance at the Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Exhibition. The "Kingdom Hearts" franchise contains a large content of "Final Fantasy" in most of its titles.
