"Final Fantasy" XV has been out for a while now, and the game has since gained millions of fans around the world. One year into the title's release, Square Enix has finally dropped its latest "Episode Ignis" downloadable content (DLC) that adds more storylines for gamers to discover.

"Episode Ignis," as the title already aptly implies, will let players control Ignis. The story of the DLC is simply Ignis protecting Noctis. It first starts, or branches out of, Chapter 9 of the main game when Ignis has to go through Altissia to find Noctis. That said, it is highly suggested for players who have not finished the story mode of the main game to not play the DLC unless they want to be spoiled of the plot.

Players can actually get different endings from "Episode Ignis." There will be multiple scenarios where players have choices affecting the rest of the story. Players can try repeating the DLC's story just so they could see other endings. There will presumably be big choices made in the game, making it interesting to see how things would have been had players made a different choice.

Aside from the story, there is a new companion added to the game named "Ravus." Although just a companion for this mode, it would be interesting as well to see if he plays an important role. After all, he is not exactly siding with the players. "Ravus will join forces with Ignis, putting allegiances aside in order to save the one they care about," reads their press release via GameSpot.

Lastly, when all that is done, players can challenge Noctis himself if they want to. He would be using the Armiger and has Ring Magic. "Episode Ignis" only costs $5 and is already out now for both the PS4 and Xbox One.
