As reported by Gamespot, Square-Enix has just released a trailer that covers the entire "Final Fantasy XV" universe. This trailer not only showcases the upcoming RPG but also its tie-in mobile pinball game, the "Brotherhood" anime series and the "Kingsglaive" CGI film.

"'The Final Fantasy XV Universe' is a project comprising various content closely related to 'Final Fantasy XV.' The main reason for creating this universe is to provide many avenues of enjoyment before 'FFXV' is released so you have the richest possible experience when you play 'FFXV," explains the descriptions of the video on Youtube.

It is further explained that each entry in the "Final Fantasy XV Universe" can stand on its own and can be enjoyed even if the player or viewer has not experienced the other tie-ins. This would allow someone to simply watch the CGI film even if they have no intentions of playing the game and vice versa.

Of course the experience would be far richer if a consumer experiences all of the entries of the "Final Fantasy XV Universe" together as some events in the film and anime may be referenced in the video game.

Fans will recall that this is similar to some degree to the "Final Fantasy VII Compilation" but the entries of the latter required fans to be familiar with the "Final Fantasy VII" game to truly enjoy the film and tie-ins such as the prequel game "Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII."

"Final Fantasy XV" will launch on the PS4 and Xbox One on Sept. 30 and Square-Enix is currently considering a PC port sometime after it launches on consoles. The "Brotherhood" anime series has just launched its third episode online and the "Kingsglaive" movie will launch in theaters this summer.

The film will star Sean Bean and Lena Headey from "Game of Thrones" and Aaron Paul from "Breaking Bad."
