The latest trailer for Square Enix's upcoming action role-playing game "Final Fantasy XV" was released over the weekend in Japan, and it showed a lot of exciting scenes that showcases the plot of the new game.

The new promo trailer for the game was launched during the annual Jump Festa event in Tokyo, where manga and anime titles were exhibited, and one of the first things that gamers noticed in the new trailer is the inclusion of a new female character.

According to reports, the new girl character's name is Cidney, who has a fascination with tinkering with machines, automobiles, and the like. She is very much like the staple Cid character in the past "Final Fantasy" installments, but this time, Cid has been given a different gender. It is also believed that Cidney's origins is from the southern parts of the U.S. based on her accent, as well as her outfit that looks like something that Daisy Duke of "The Dukes of Hazzard" movie would wear.

Cidney is one of the two female characters in the upcoming installment of the long-running video game directed by Tetsuya Nomura and Hajime Tabata. The other one is Luna, who appears in the trailer as the blonde girl.

Aside from the trailer, game director Hajime discussed other pertinent information about the game's new plot and features. He particularly talked about the Titan in the new installment of the "Final Fantasy" series. He said that the gigantic character was earlier planned to be included in the demo and allow players to use it and discuss its prowess.

"Unfortunately," the game director shared, "it turns out Titan is a summon that plays a rather important role in the plot, so we're putting a different summon in Episode Duscae to show players what happens when you tame one or when you use one. So we're putting the prototype of the summon system in the demo, so I hope people can actually try it out and see what it's like."
