"Final Fantasy XV" is gearing up for a simultaneous release all over the world.

News of the plan came from the game's director, Hajime Tabata.

Tabata's revelation is generating buzz around the game, because if successful, then it would mean that "Final Fantasy XV" would be the first major entry from the storied franchise to actually execute a simultaneous release all over the world, according to Polygon.

Considering the fact that the game is now trying to break historic ground, Square Enix has had to move some things around, according to Tabata. The director shared that he and the company were a bit embarrassed to even talk about the simultaneous launch, due to their relative inexperience in this particular task.

For those who may not know, Square Enix normally had a game plan which it stuck to whenever it came to releasing major "Final Fantasy" games. What the company usually did was to release the game first in Japan and then about six months later, it would make its way to other regions such as Europe and North America.

As for why there had always been a delay, the reason was simply that the games themselves still needed to be translated, according to Game Rant. As for why Square Enix, did not opt, in the past, to just wait a bit longer to release "Final Fantasy" games with all the translations intact so that everyone could play at the same time, there's no clear explanation for that. 

Interestingly, Segment Next reported that the French Square Enix store currently lists that languages are still subject to change for "Final Fantasy XV." This is opening up speculation that players may be given the option of listening to the game in English, Japanese, or perhaps their own native language.

Fans will simply have to find that out when "Final Fantasy XV" is released.
