Fans finally have a concrete idea of the total size of "Final Fantasy XV's" game data, and its enormity is not surprising due to the fact that the game's scope, as well as the scale of Square Enix's latest Japanese role-playing game (JRPG) adventure, are massive.

According to Game Rant, players are eagerly counting down the hours before the much-awaited RPG "Final Fantasy XV" is finally released. Now, players are just finalizing any preparations they might need to ensure that their gaming experience is optimal.

Finding the best deals for the game as well as whether or not a collector's edition will be worth it are just two of the many considerations that must be asked, but another one should be considered first and foremost: console storage space.

Square Enix has yet to give any official announcements, but the article cites that people from DualShockers have uncovered the size of the "Final Fantasy XV" game for major console platforms like the PS4 and Xbox One. The PS4 version of the game will require more or less 50 GB of disk space to install, and the same applies to the Xbox One version of the much-awaited JRPG.

It is interesting to see that the file sizes are much bigger than what Square Enix anticipated since the company previously predicted that the game will be at least 40GB, according to Game N Guide. What's more is that the file size does not take into consideration the "Final Fantasy XV" game's day one patch called the "Crown Update."

Luckily, new and upcoming consoles from both Sony and Microsoft will have larger hard drives, with the Xbox One S boasting up to 2 TB while the PS4 Pro has 1 TB. Also, there are other ways to upgrade storage capabilities for current generation consoles, so storage space is not much of an issue.
