While fans need to wait a bit longer before the latest in the long-running and hugely popular "Final Fantasy" series hits the shelves later this year, Square Enix keeps updating the fans with teasers and details about the upcoming "Final Fantasy XV" saga.

The latest Active Time Report from Square Enix focuses on the Regalia and other game-related details.

In the latest issue of its "Final Fantasy XV" coverage, Game Informer focuses on one of the novel features of the upcoming role-playing game. Much like how personal air travel has been introduced in "Final Fantasy IX," the latest installment also carries an air travel feature. However, instead of a full-blown airship, the main protagonist has a flying car instead.

The Regalia is both a land- and air-based vehicle in "Final Fantasy XV." According to the industry follower, the way the air travel works is not like other, cut-scene based fast-travel sequence. Rather, players can pilot the Regalia anywhere on the map, similar to driving it on land.

Meanwhile, aside from in-game details, the latest teasers and leaks also showcase the tie-ins to the "Final Fantasy XV" game, particularly its upcoming movie. It has been revealed that "Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV" will release much earlier than the game itself, slated for showing on July 9. In addition, it is also confirmed that while the movie and its anime adaptation have close connections to the game, the two tie-ins are independent of the game, and players can still get the full experience of "Final Fantasy XV" even without watching the two shows outright.

There is also a companion mobile app for the game. "Justice Monsters V" is already on Android, and will release on Windows and iOS later in the summer.

"Final Fantasy XV" launches for the PS4 and Xbox One on September 30. A limited exclusive "Collector's Edition" is also available, with Square Enix revealing that 10,000 more copies will be added due to demand.
