"Final Fantasy XV" is set to be released in a few days, and now, Square Enix announced the contents of the game's day one patch. Called the "Crown Update," it will add a few new cutscenes and gameplay features, and it will address a few glitches and bugs.

It should be noted that one of the main reasons the game was pushed to November from its original September release date was because the developers wanted to avoid releasing an unfinished game which would require large amounts of DLC upon release.

A day one patch is still unavoidable, however, given that the developers may have still been working on new features during or after the physical copies of the game had been mass produced. Fortunately, the "Crown Update" is not as big as the day one patches for titles like "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare."

According to Gematsu, the full content of the "Crown Update" includes camera improvements, particularly around tight spaces and in combat, and new cutscenes that were taken from the "Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV" movie and the "Omen" trailer to make the timeline of events easier for players to follow.

The update also comes with the "Beast Whistle," an item that when used in battle will allow the player to summon monsters. The "Wait Mode" function has been given an ability tree to increase strategic layers to the game. New recipes and fish have also been added with the day one patch.

Players can also take photos of their adventures, and the day one patch adds a new social media feature to instantly allow photo sharing on Facebook and Twitter. A gallery has also been included and this will showcase all the achievements and items that completionists have gathered through their time in the game.

"Final Fantasy XV" will roll out on Nov. 29 for the Xbox One and Playstation 4.
