"Final Fantasy XV" is now complete, and the developers at Square Enix are currently working on the downloadable content included in the game's season pass. During the company's presentation at the Paris Games Week event, they showcased what these DLC packages will be, and surprisingly, the DLC includes online multiplayer.

As reported by Gematsu there will be six DLC packs altogether. Three of the DLCs will introduce a separate chapter from the main game and will allow players to play as one of Prince Noctis' companions. The first DLC will focus on Gladiolus, and it will be followed by a campaign centering on Ignis and then Prompto.

The main draw, however, is that the season pass also includes online multiplayer. This will be online co-op, and while the main player will take control of Noctis, friends can join in the game and take control of his three companions. Unfortunately, further details regarding how this online co-op will be set-up and how rewards are given were not stated.

Having online multiplayer in a main "Final Fantasy" game may come as a surprise to many long-time fans of the franchise. It is likely these elements have been added since both "Final Fantasy XI" and "Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn" have proven successful. Both aforementioned games are MMORPGs.

The season pass will cost a total of $25, and it will come with all six DLC packs included. The DLC packs will not be launched simultaneously with the main game on November, but they are stated to launch shortly after. No specific release date has been given.

Along with the announcement of the future DLCs and the season pass, Square Enix also released a brand new trailer titled "Omens." The trailer showcases Prince Noctis battling through waves of soldiers as he goes through a violent vision involving his fiancee, Lunafreya. At the end of the video, a dark omen is also hinted awaiting Noctis' father, King Regis.

"Final Fantasy XV" is scheduled to roll out for the Xbox One and PS4 on Nov. 29.
