"Final Fantasy XV" will have full support for the PlayStation 4 Pro upon launch. This was recently confirmed by director Hajime Tabata during an Active Time Report at the Tokyo Game Show in which he presented a clip of the game running on the more powerful console, showcasing higher fidelity graphics and smoother framerates.

According to a report from Playstation Lifestyle, when the game was announced to be pushed back from its September release to November this year, it was highly speculated that part of this had to do with implementing PS4 Pro support.

Tabata made no comment about this at the time and stated that he had no involvement with the PS4 Pro's technology. He gave a separate reason, stating that the developers wanted to include as much content as they could upon launch instead of having to resort to post-launch DLC in order to add more content to the game.

Unfortunately, Tabata did not share any further details regarding the game's features when played on a PS4 Pro. However, given that all games running on a PS4 Pro should also run on the regular PS4 and PS4 Slim, it is likely the new features will be limited to performance upgrades such as 4K resolution support and a consistent 60 fps.

Because of this, there will be no exclusive content for the PS4 Pro. It is also unclear if there will be support for the Xbox One Scorpio, the more powerful follow-up to the regular Xbox One.

During the same Active Time Report, Tabata also announced that they had collaborated with Cup Noodle. There will even be a special quest in "Final Fantasy XV" where players will need to search for the best Cup Noodle available, further tying in with the fact that the game has numerous cafes and restaurants that players can visit.

"Final Fantasy XV" will launch for the Xbox One and PS4 this Nov. 29, and according to Gematsu, another Active Time Report has been scheduled for Sept. 30.
