"Final Fantasy XV" is launching at the end of November for PS4 and Xbox One but mobile gamers will not be left out as a tie-in mobile MMO game has just been announced. Square Enix will be co-developing the game with Machine Zone, a company known for creating some of the highest rated mobile games on iOS and Android.

According to a report from Venture Beat, Machine Zone is known for their game "Game of War: Fire Age," which has been among the top five highest-grossing mobile games in three years, as well as "Mobile Strike," which is currently the second top game in the iOS app store.

"Machine Zone has a stellar track record in the mobile gaming space and we are putting 'Final Fantasy XV' in trustworthy hands. We are very excited to work with the MZ team to bring together two leaders in the gaming world and look forward to 'Final Fantasy XV' on MZ's amazing gaming platform. We'll work together to create MZ's next great global mobile MMO game," stated Square Enix President, Yosuke Matsuda.

The game is going to feature the characters, music, and storyline from "Final Fantasy XV," but the exact nature of its gameplay and how these elements will be twisted into an MMO mobile game are yet to be revealed. It is stated that the MMO mobile will allow millions of people to simultaneously experience the game in a single, seamless universe.

Given that Machine Zone's previous games have focused on RTS elements, such as base building and resource gathering, it is possible that the MMO will utilize similar mechanics.

No official title for the game has been announced, and neither Square-Enix nor Machine Zone have stated when the mobile MMO would launch. Given that "Final Fantasy XV" is launching for consoles this Nov. 29, it is possible that the mobile MMO will launch in December or in early 2017.
