The new fitness tracker from Fitbit isn't due to come out until next month. But fans who want to get the new Alta can already secure a delivery for the wearable as online retailer Amazon has opened pre-orders for the device.

On its Amazon page, the Fitbit Alta fitness tracker has been listed with a $129.95 price tag with free shipping. However, Amazon has yet to post shipping and release dates for the wearable. The Amazon listing has two sizes and four colors available for the Alta. Buyers can also add up to two years' worth of warranty for an additional charge.

On the Fitbit online shop, however, fans can select pre-orders for the Alta in three sizes, including extra-large. The online shop also offers a one-year limited warranty on Alta purchases, already included in the total price.

While Fitbit is known for its range of fitness trackers and other wearables, fans have been ecstatic with the Alta when it was announced. According to Wareable, one of the key improvements in the Alta is that Fitbit designed the device to hide its fitness tracker features and made the wearable as fashionable and trendy as possible.

The industry follower said that while the Alta still looks like a fitness tracker at first glance, the different color options and band selections like leather and faux-metal give flexibility in Alta's design. It is also stated that the upcoming Alta will have its own Luxe models and designer-specific premium versions made by designers like Tory Burch.

Meanwhile, although its personalization options make it fashionable, Fitbit did not compromise with the Alta's fitness tracking features. Some known specs of the upcoming wearable include water resistance, an improved battery known to be good for up to five days and SmartTrack feature with Fitbit's own app.
