Although a specific release date has not been announced by Fitbit, pre-orders have already gone live for the Alta, hinting that the fitness tracker may roll out anytime within the month.

According to Vine Report, the fitness tracker can now be purchased as a pre-order as the Fitbit Alta page is now live on Amazon. The industry follower also mentioned that the general timeframe for the Alta's roll-out is March for the United States while those who are waiting for it elsewhere can get the wearable starting next month.

The Fitbit Alta is listed with a $129.95 price tag on the online retailer site.

Other reports observed that what sets the upcoming Alta apart from other wearables is that Fitbit designed the new fitness tracker to not look like one. The company integrated both functionality and style into the tracker's design, so the Alta looks sleek and stylish and functional at the same time. In addition, users who want to customize their fitness trackers will have different accessory bands that they can use to suit their style. There are also a number of colors available, as the Fitbit Alta comes in teal, black, blue, and plum.

Meanwhile, aside from Alta, Fitbit has also introduced an addition to their fitness tracker lineup, the new Fitbit Blaze. TechnoBuffalo said that the new tracker became available at the start of the month, for $199.95. The Fitbit Blaze is considered one of the most expensive fitness wearables currently out in the market.

The industry follower also listed some of the wearable's features and specs. One of the most noted features of the new wearable is its long battery life, with the device able to run for up to five days.
