The newest trailer for "Five Nights at Freddy's 4" is showing players just how the franchise is planning to turn up the terror for its latest installment.

In the newest trailer, it looks as though the terror is leaving the familiar haunt of Freddy Fazbear and is now following the players home instead. Players will now have to find a way to get free from Freddy while having no refuge of their own.

Even with the release of the newest trailer, most fans are still in the dark about just how exactly the new game will be played.

According to Design and Trend, Scott Cawthon, the series developer, is most likely planning on keeping the elements of the game that players are familiar with true to what they are, but some changes are also expected. One new change possibly coming to the game could be in giving the players more opportunities to simply roam around the new setting. The players look like they will be left to fend off their bloodthirsty enemies by using the flashlight and closing doors strategically.

The fourth installment of "Five Nights at Freddy's" is also expected to introduce some new characters to the series. One new character that has already made its debut in the trailer is Plushbear. As players might expect, Plushbear is going to make the challenge of survival even more difficult in the upcoming game, and it may even play a pivotal role in the gameplay.

Another character being rumored to debut in the latest game is Fredbear. The pseudo father of the franchise has yet to make an appearance in the series, but "Five Nights at Freddy's 4" may finally be the time for this horrific figure to rear its ugly head.

In related news, Warner Bros. has already purchased the rights to the game, according to Movie Pilot. This bit of news has led to fans speculating that a movie may soon be in the works.

As of now, players can satisfy the horror fans in them when "Five Nights at Freddy's 4" is released on Aug. 8.
