These days, it is no longer surprising to see producers considering video games as possible movies. We have seen it before. And as far as Warner Bros. is concerned, it seems that the company will do just that for "Five Nights at Freddy's," the ever popular game from Scott Cawthon.

Though there is no target date yet on when the movie will come out, the people behind the scenes have already been named.

That includes Vertigo Entertainment's Roy Lee who will work with Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg of KatzSmith Productions to come up with an interesting movie rendition, which shouldn't be that hard to do.

With the plot of the game pretty clear, it seems that Lee, Grahame-Smith, and Katzenberg simply have to put their creative minds to work and come up with a film that will appeal to the gaming audience, particularly the ones who have been playing the game since it hit the big time.

For the benefit of the non-gamers, "Five Nights at Freddy's" is set at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza where an animatronic animal band render harmless kid songs during the day and evil murders at night. As far as the game is concerned, it is up to the people held up inside the pizza parlor to survive the night together with a death machine that could strike at any time.

Hopefully what the producers have in mind for the movie version does not veer away from the actual game play.

With the film side still in the air, the fourth installment of the game is set to be released by Aug. 8. Although the game was originally set for a more fitting Halloween debut, it seems that Cawthon wants to release the next installment as scheduled.

A trailer for the game can be viewed below.
