"Five Nights at Freddy's" creator Scott Cawthon has unexpectedly dropped the game's tie-in novel.

On Friday, Dec.18, game creator released the 464-page novel titled "Five Nights at Freddy's: The Silver Eyes." It is considered a spin-off to the popular horror game franchise.

Cawthorn co-wrote the book together with Kira Breed-Wrisley. It was supposedly released on Dec. 22, but it was surprisingly released several days earlier.

The book is reportedly about a woman named Charlie, the daughter of the man who owned the infamous family restaurant and amusement center called Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.

The events of the book are set 10 years after the evil attacks of animatronics in the restaurant. Charlie goes back to her hometown and meet up with her old pals. After talking about the murders that took place inside her father's Freddy Fazbear's Pizza restaurant, she and her friends decide to return to the old pizza place.

The group finds out that Freddy Fazbear's Pizza is still existing, but hiding in plain sight. They try to get inside but discover that the old, happy place they used to know is not the same anymore.

"Five Nights at Freddy's: The Silver Eyes" can be purchased for just $2.99 on Amazon.

Cawthon released "Five Nights at Freddy's 4" in July 2015. He is currently busy working on a new PC and mobile role-playing spin-off called "Five Nights at Freddy's World." However, there is no word yet regarding the release date of upcoming spin-off.

There is also a "Five Nights at Freddy's" movie in the works, which is being directed by filmmaker Gil Kenan. The director regularly updates the progress of the film via his social media accounts, including the photos of the animatronics that will be featured in the movie.

Several speculations claim that the script of the novel is connected to the film. But Cawthon and Kenan remain silent about the details of the movie's plot.
