'Five Nights at Freddy's' movie release date: New animatronic revealed; Fans expect Lovecraftian horror style

Scott Cawthon, creator of the "Five Nights at Freddy's," has teased another character for the upcoming "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" game. This new character is rumored to be Ennard since his design is similar to that of Mangle.

On the website itself, the Baby poster has already been replaced with this character's picture, which wasn't revealed from the last "Sister Location" trailer. This character's design is so different from the other animatronic, and its tagline reads: "There's a little of me in every body." This, of course, is a heavy indication of the animatronic's name, Ennard -- this is just a speculation, as there's still no confirmation from Cawthon just yet.

This Ennard update might be an indication of another teaser trailer for the "Sister Location" game, according to The Bitbag. After all, when the Baby animatronic's poster went up on the ScottGames website, it was only a matter of time before the trailer got released. Also, the first trailer ending with the number "1" might imply that another trailer is coming up anyway.

Regardless, with the advent of this character, a lot of fans are starting to think that Cawthon's usual horror style is shifting to a more Lovecraftian direction. Far from his usual uncanny yet innocent-looking animatronics, this new character has tentacle wirings, implying the very imagery of an Eldritch horror, specifically Cthulhu. With this, fans are excited as to whether or not this animatronic will be able to inspire dread the way Cthulhu does.

Of course, Cawthon's absence at the E3 2016 might be related to the release of this new content. Also, the game didn't show up on the Indiecade of this event as well, which also implies that this developer is doing his best to prevent game leaks. As such, fans will have to wait for Cawthon to release more content in the upcoming weeks.
