'Five Nights at Freddy's World' to return with 3D overworld feature

"Five Nights at Freddy's" is no longer available on Steam after its creator's decision to take it down, but that may end up being a good thing both for the fans and the game itself.

Even though creator Scott Cawthon's decision to take the game down may seem sudden, he is apparently doing it for reasons that will end up being beneficial for everyone involved.

First off, Cawthon has announced plans to provide at least one additional feature to the game, with that being a 3D overworld.

According to Design and Trend, the currently available version of "Five Nights at Freddy's World" simply does not offer as much as other role-playing games (RPGs), making it a bit lacking in that regard.

If Cawthon can follow through on his promise to add a 3D overworld, then "Five Nights at Freddy's World" will likely be better for it.

It's unclear if Cawthon will introduce other additions to the game when it is released again, although it seems that he is planning to make other improvements.

Cawthon has indicated that he has asked Steam to take down the game due in part to some of the ratings and reviews it has received, so it seems likely that the new version of "Five Nights at Freddy's World" will be different from the original one in some very noticeable ways.

Cawthon is also working with Valve to help players obtain refunds for "Five Nights at Freddy's World," Venture Beat reported. If Valve agrees with Cawthon's terms, then players who own the game can still return it to get a full refund regardless of how many hours they may have already poured into it.

The game's creator has also announced that the new version of "Five Nights at Freddy's World" will be completely free when it is released.

The revamped version of "Five Nights at Freddy's World" will be available via GameJolt. No release date for the new version of "Five Nights at Freddy's World" has been announced.
