Users of Amazon and Twitch Prime will be happy to know that the rouge-like video game "Flame in the Flood" is currently free for grabs. Those with a Twitch Prime account can claim their free game merely by logging in, going to the Twitch store, and picking out the ongoing offer. "Flame in the Flood" will reportedly be free to all Amazon and Twitch Prime users until Nov. 29.

According to video game news website PC Gamer, users must first install the Twitch Desktop app in order to get access to the store. Once users are on the store page they will then be able to access the game. Users of Amazon Prime automatically have access to Twitch Prime as well.

PC Gamer went on to mention that users of Twitch Prime occasionally receive video game freebies.

"Flame in the Flood" was released on Feb. 14, 2016.

Developed by the Molasses Flood, the Steam page describes the game as: "A rogue-lite river journey through the backwaters of a forgotten post-societal America. Forage, craft, evade predators."

Players hop into the shoes of an unnamed protagonist and must control the player as they travel down a procedurally generated river. Things are never set in stone, and players must travel both on foot and by raft in order to progress through the levels. Aside from traveling, players also need to gather resources, craft items, heal sicknesses, avoid natural calamities and evade threats. It's a dangerous world for the player character, and it's up to the players to make sure the protagonist survives not only the harsh conditions and the journey itself but every other possible threat along the way.

Due to the procedurally generated environment, it's a new experience each time, allowing for some replayability. Aside from that, "Flame in the Flood" also comes with both a campaign mode and endless mode, adding to the things players will be able to do.
