The cast of the upcoming "Arrow" and "The Flash" spin-off recently expanded with "Edge of Tomorrow" actor Franz Drameh, who will play the role of a character named Jay Jackson in the highly-anticipated series.

Expectedly, not much information was spilled about what he will be up to on the show but the description for the character, which The CW called a "mystery hero," reveals that Drameh's character may very well be the third and final superhero to make a debut on the small screen.

Jackson is a former high school athlete who had a thriving pro-career that ended swiftly after an injury The CW did not detail. The once-promising sportsman is depicted as a hard worker and the tragedy has led him to become an auto-mechanic.

Although Jackson just shifted to a new field, his life takes a big turn once more when it hurls him right into STAR Labs. Needless to say, when someone walks into the door of this facility, expect they will come out a superhero, and Jackson seems to share that fate.

Unfortunately though, The CW has not revealed his superhero identity and maybe they are keeping it because Jackson, whose name does not appear in the DC Comics, is the alter-ego of a cool, presumably fan-favorite superhero.

Many speculations suggest Drameh has signed up as a character inspired by Vic Stone, who was best in football during his high school until he acquired an injury. He eventually ends up working with STAR Labs and becoming Cyborg. Drameh's appearance bears a striking resemblance to Stone as well.

However, the spin-off's producers have emphasized that the superheroes who will grace the show have never been seen before in film or on TV, and Cyborg has previously enjoyed the spotlight in "Smallville" and will be included in the upcoming "Justice League" movie.

Others speculations include Static but there is not much weight here. Screen Rant suggests that Drameh's character will be Wally West, The Flash's protégé and Iris' nephew.
