Despite the future of "Flip or Flop" seeming to be unclear during the past few months due to the divorce of hosts Tarek and Christina El Moussa and the announcement of spin-off shows in different cities, it looks like the El Moussas' house flipping business lives on.

HGTV has announced that the network has renewed "Flip or Flop" season 7 for 20 episodes. The network's news release also says that although the couple has already split, "each one has turned the page to a new life that includes a continued commitment to running their house-flipping business together and delivering fresh episodes of Flip or Flop."

With this said, the El Moussas are set to continue finding, buying, and renovating houses in Southern California. The seventh season of Tarek and Christina's house flipping TV series is scheduled to air on HGTV this December. Although the hosts went through a messy and highly publicized divorce earlier this year, the previous season, which ended in March, garnered over 17 million total viewers.

Tarek has also announced the news on his Instagram account by posting an image of him and his ex-wife Christina, saying that their show, the original "Flip or Flop," has been renewed for 20 episodes. He also said, "I know many of our fans have been wondering about this and it's finally happening. Regardless of the situation, our job is to flip homes and create a TV show for people to enjoy around the world... be prepared for some disasters and crazy projects on the upcoming season... it's almost... GO TIME! Who's excited about this??? I am!"

In other news, the former couple were recently spotted arm-in-arm and all smiles at the red carpet during the 44th Daytime Emmy Awards at Pasadena Civic Auditorium in California, as reported on E! News. They also presented the award for the Outstanding Entertainment News Program together.
