Floyd Mayweather last fight September 2015? Will this really be 'Money's' last fight?

To date, Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s next opponent hasn't been officially named though it seems imminent that the honor will be handed to Andre Berto.

The choice of Berto has of course drawn a lot of criticism, a fight that is not seen to rack in revenue for the Money Team. And the longer Mayweather waits, the more losses he is piling up.

Hence, his upcoming fight is looking more like a fastbreak scenario just to get to 49-0 before deciding on whether to call it quits or fight on. Of the two, many believe that it will be the latter.

As far as the business side of the fight is concerned, the fast approaching Sept. 12 date makes it hard to draw in advertisers. And apparently this is one reason why the fight will be viewed for free and make it look like Mayweather is giving back to the fans before he calls it quits (allegedly).

Considering the ton load of money he made last May in that disappointing fight with Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Jr. could indeed spare some cash. But as a businessman, one knows that Mayweather loves money and losing some of it will be somehow covered in the future — either in the ring or some other venture.

So assuming that the Berto fight is a done deal, will it indeed be the last or simply a slight detour? Being a competitor, breaking Rocky Marciano's record with one more fight (possibly in 2016) could be considered, although the answer to that remains on Pretty Boy Floyd.

And should that happen, who will it be against? Amir Khan? Gennady Golovkin? Manny Pacquiao?

Whoever it may be, the money angle is bound to be in play. And of the three mentioned names (like it or not) the safe bet is on Pacquiao, although revenues may not be that big compared to their first encounter.

There is still drama ensuing of course with both Mayweather and Pacquiao allegedly avoiding another match. Mayweather doesn't want to give in until Pacquiao accepts defeat and the Filipino boxer still believes he won the match.

Even though all that seems to be a stumbling block, it gives them all the reason to fight again don't you think?
