Floyd Mayweather Jr. has finally responded for the first time since Pacquiao and his camp agreed to the conditions set on the table but his response was far from the much coveted 'YES' or 'It's On'.

Rather, Mayweather dilly-dallied and diverted everything, belittling Pacquiao for reported agreeing when in fact he believes that it was the Filipino fighter's 'bosses' (Top Rank) who agreed and are telling him what to do.

"Are we negotiating? Absolutely we are negotiating," says Mayweather in a post from boxingscene.com. "But Pacquiao said that he agreed to everything. What did you agree to? You have no say so. You have a boss. You don't have no say so. That's called Top Rank Promotions. It's not called Pacquiao Promotions. With my company, it's called Mayweather Promotions."

Short of saying, Mayweather did respond but not to address the fight but for the simple reason of avoiding the blame for ignoring the reaction that the world wants. Rather, Mayweather was back to his old tricks, diverting and responding for the sake of saying something. In all, no progress has been made and many believe that the chances of this fight from ever happening have now been dimmed.

Of course Pacquiao has given Mayweather until the end of the month, something which Floyd claims he is aware of. But given his response and how he tackled the matter, it is clear that Mayweather will make it hard for the fight to happen especially if Bob Arum and Top Rank is involved.

Mayweather had already said that he is "hopeful" that the fight would be "extremely difficult" dealing with Top Rank. As for Pacquiao, it was pretty clear that he berated the Filipino champion once more, saying he was not the boss and that he was a pawn.
