Floyd Mayweather next fight rumors: 'Money' continues to burn his cash, but will he unretire?

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has been known to spend his money as much as he wants, although many question if he can do that forever.

While "Money" Mayweather is officially retired, not all are sold with the fact that the undefeated American boxer is sticking to his retirement plans. That includes Manny Pacquiao who, according to the LA Times, is not totally closing his doors on boxing in what could turn out to be a cat-and-mouse game between the two iconic boxers.

Until that time comes, however, expect Mayweather to go on spending his millions as much as he wants. Well, he does deserve to no matter how people view it.

He has been criticized for cherry-picking his opponents, although all that can easily be quashed by the fact he did face the greatest boxers in his division/s during his prime. An argument out is, of course, the timing on when he faced them. Pacquiao perhaps at the top of the list, since their match took years to materialize.

Whatever he plans, only Mayweather knows if he would ever put on a pair of boxing gloves ever again. Right now, he believes he has no reason to do so, something seen by many because he has amassed a ton of money which largely came from the rich payday against Pacquiao back in May.

Despite these hopes, Floyd Mayweather Sr. speaks yet again to douse all hope of such.

"Floyd Jr. ain't fighting no rematch (with Pacquiao)," says Mayweather Sr. via the Thaboxingvoice.com, adding, "(Pacquiao) want a fight with Floyd Jr. He want the biggest payout, you know. That's all that is. He want it but he ain't gone get it."

Time and again boxing fans have seen the claims of the elder Mayweather end up shunned by his son. Could this be another one of those instances?
