As we enter practically a month before Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao face off at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, the psyche wars continue and are expected to get hotter in the coming weeks.

The latest so far comes from Pacquiao trainer Freddie Roach who continues to vehemently claim that he has a secret weapon against the undefeated American boxer.

And the secret weapon seems to be someone who used to be under the Mayweather umbrella, at least that is what Roach divulged during a radio interview recently.

Both Mayweather and Pacquiao are in deep training as the May 2 tiff is fastly approaching. Both camps have fired their warning shots, each breaking down the other in what many perceive as a mental tactic to gain the upper hand heading into the historic fight.

Mayweather has been going back to where it all started and has been training harder than many have seen him before.

Pacquiao on the other hand has been keeping his training in closed doors, as Roach lines up sparring mates which are close to Mayweather fighting style, mostly undefeated.

But all eyes are on the mystery boxer who reportedly has a grudge on Floyd for disrespecting him and throwing him aside. His identity is kept secret by Roach and all that is known for now is that the said fighter will enter the fray with about two weeks left before the monumental fight gets underway.

Mayweather's camp did mention the same thing, referring of course to former conditioning coach Alex Ariza. Ariza has drawn praises from the Mayweather camp, claiming that Floyd Jr. is stronger and better than he was before.

With more or less four weeks to go, expect more trash talking and mental warfare to continue.

Mayweather and Pacquiao get it on this May 2 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
