Floyd Mayweather fight start time tonight with Marcos Maidana: Live stream, preview and Showtime PPV info

Floyd Mayweather will be returning to the boxing ring and fighting it out with his former rival Marcos Maidana at Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sept. 13.

The 37-year-old boxer's previous match with Maidana left him off with a higher personal record of 46-0 when he won by majority decision, a fight with which Mayweather felt that Maidana had done "a little bit of everything."

When asked about his plans on defending his WBA and WBC titles for the rematch this Saturday, the five-division world champion stated that he will have to rely on his usual preparations, drive, and intuition. He is also expecting his Argentinian opponent to put up another "wild fight this second time around," Sky Sports reported.

"I just have to go out there and just be me and be first," Mayweather said. "I can't really say how the fight is going to play out, but I'm pretty sure he's going to be once again extremely dirty and wild. My job is to keep everything under control the best way that I can."

He also gave a brief account of what he believed had happened during his fight with Maidana last May.

"The [first] fight was not close. He came out, he won the first round, I won the second round, he won the third and the fourth, and from the fifth on he lost every round," Mayweather claimed, while also adding: "If you guys notice, I got tackled, the guy tried to knee me, I got a head butt, there were rabbit punches, there were low blows and the list goes on and on. He did a little bit of everything."

Maidana began their bout last May 4 with an intense range of punches that trapped Mayweather against the ropes at several turns in the first couple of rounds

Now, the undefeated champion is drawing attention to the importance of taking advantage of any opportunity there is.

"If a knockout presents itself, of course I'm going to take full advantage of a knockout," Mayweather said. "I always find a way. Whether I am 26 or 37, I still find the way to win."

Floyd Mayweather vs Marcos Maidana fight will be available to watch via Pay-Per-View at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT  on Sept. 13. Watch online via live stream here.
