Ubisoft has finally unleashed what "For Honor" players have been waiting for — the two new heroes, namely the Centurion and the Shinobi. Apart from this, the studio has also launched the second season of the game titled "Shadow and Might."

The aforementioned "For Honor" heroes will be available for free for those who are season pass holders. With such membership, the characters are acquirable come May 16. For regular members, they will have to wait until May 23 to purchase the two new heroes using steel (in-game currency).

In "For Honor," the Shinobi is basically a "Samurai Assassin" who strikes with precision and moves with grace. Its most notable weapon will be the Kusarigama. The Centurion, on the other hand, is more of a fighter who hails from Rome. Expectedly, this character is quite lethal especially when it comes to close combat.

The developers of the game have also introduced a total of two new maps, which are the Forge and the Temple Garden. These maps will obviously offer new battlegrounds for players to showcase their prowess. As soon as the second season starts, these will become readily available for free.

The arrival of the next "For Honor" season will mean a couple of changes. For instance, there will be an increase in the game's maximum gear score. Balance changes will also be brought to the overall gear stats system. Above all, a new Epic level of gear rarity is coming. Season 2 also marks the return of the highly-celebrated Faction War.

It is also worth noting that a couple of cosmetic items and the like will arrive along with the new "For Honor" season. Apparently, these will not be free of charge, as players need to purchase them using the in-game currency. WindowsReport notes that the content can be likened to "Rainbow Six Siege," a title also developed by Ubisoft.
