Former BBC Reporter Tackles Spiritual Affairs on Internet Radio Station

My Spirit Radio, a worldwide internet station dedicated to spirituality, has launched a new religion discussion show hosted by Suzanne Evans, the creative director of Aquarius PR and a former BBC religious affairs reporter.

The Aquarius Debate will air monthly and promises to tackle current issues affecting the worldwide spiritual community. Guests will include newsmakers, spiritual and religious leaders and religious and secular commentators.

Ms Evans, a member of the Church of England, said, "I'm delighted to be asked to present this show and debate some of the most important religious issues of the day - as well as more light-hearted stories - and look at national and international news stories from a spiritual perspective.

She revealed that the first Aquarius Debate would focus on the problem of religious extremism, asking whether Britain is becoming a worse place in which to live. The programme will also take soundings on whether the full moon really does make people more aggressive, she said.

My Spirit radio was launched in 2005 by Esoteric Entertainment. The station currently attracts 395,000 hits each month and has 26,000 regular online listeners as well as FM listeners in Kent, Sussex, Dorset and Chicago.

Aquarius PR is a specialist multi-faith PR consultancy, representing faith groups, spiritual leaders and other religious organisations across the UK faith spectrum.
