Former "Dance Mom" star Abby Lee Miller has already been spotted in public on a few occasions after being released from federal prison. Recently, the reality TV celebrity was seen on her way to the Easter church service in Los Angeles with a smile on her face, showing that she is starting to get over all the tough things she has gone through this past year by showing devotion to God.

As reported by Entertainment Online, Miller was seen smiling and making a thumbs up sign as she headed to the Easter Sunday church service on April 1. The 51-year-old celebrity has been trying to rebuild her life after serving almost nine months in federal prison, and her recent sighting at the Easter Sunday service is a good sign that she is on track to recovery.

Miller was sentenced to one year and a day in the Federal Correctional Complex in Victorville, California last May 2016 after being found guilty of bankruptcy fraud. Miller was accused of concealing $775,500 worth of income, as well as bringing $120,000-equivalent of Australian currency into the United States without proper declaration. According to the law, travelers should not carry an undeclared amount of more than $10,000 at Customs.

She pleaded guilty of the charges and sentenced to prison.  After turning herself in last July, the "Dance Moms" star was released a week ago from federal prison, although she was transferred to a halfway house in Long Beach, California to serve the remaining days of her sentence.

Miller was initially expected to be out of prison on June 21, but a series of appeals was effective in obtaining an earlier release date.

Miller reportedly lost almost 100 pounds in weight during her incarceration. Prior to her sighting at the Easter Sunday service, she was seen getting a pedicure at Pampered Hands, also in Los Angeles, two days after her release from federal prison.
