After being kicked out of Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," things are starting to spiral downward for reality show star Kim Richards. 

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's office announced Wednesday that the media personality is charged with public intoxication, resisting arrest, as well as battery on a peace officer after she caused a disturbance at the Polo Lounge of the Beverly Hill Hotel on April 16. Richards could face a maximum senence of two years and six months if the court finds her guilty. 

The intoxicated reality show star reportedly caused a scene at the posh hotel, which is why the staff alerted the police when she refused to get out of the premises. She also resisted arrest by hiding inside a powder room, and later kicked a police officer when she was brought to the station. 

Richards entered a not guilty plea Thursday through a legal representative from Robert Shapiro's firm, and the lawyer explained that the former child actress cannot submit her plea in person since she is currently being treated in a rehab.

The prosecutor went on record to offer three years probation, 52 AA classes, as well as pay the victim restitution so that she can avoid facing the maximum time in jail. Richards must also choose between a month of community service or 30 days in a county jail, as well as stop going to the Beverly Hills Hotel since it was the place where the incident happened. 

At the moment, there is no information yet if Richards has accepted the prosecutor's offer.

The case is just one of the current problems of the reality show star. Just recently, the actress was involved in another alleged meltdown when she temporarily left the rehab facilities last month to go to Mexico to attend her daughter Brooke Brinson's wedding. She is now reportedly back in treatment, but in a different rehab facility. 

The Daily Mail also reported that Richards can no longer afford to pay for the rent of her upscale L.A. home since she has now been removed from the list of regular cast members of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" next season.
